Joy (Kathryn) Lanzerotte, MA, is a leader in the area of change. For thirty years Ms. Lanzerotte, has been teaching the process of change. She explores the "Y" in LYFE (emphasizing ‘your’ lyfe) by stretching the body/mind/spirit. Ms Lanzerotte focuses her message on teaching diverse individuals and organizations how to let go of limiting ideas and actions by directing energy inward allowing freedom to concentrate on the whole of LYFE’s purpose. She facilitates weekend retreats and presents seminars locally and nationally. She is a licensed professional counselor, university teacher, yoga instructor, author and national speaker. She utilizes her education, training, experience and humor into an integrated approach for change. She was selected for inclusion in the 1996 edition of the International Who’s Who of Professionals and by the American Biographical Institute as one of 2,000 Notable American Women. She currently resides in California.

She has successfully developed a flexible yet structured program to meet the needs of her clients by creating a sense of community. She weaves her education, training, experiences, and humor into an integrated approach to wellness and change. Ms. Lanzerotte focuses her message on teaching diverse individuals and organizations how to let go of limiting ideas and actions by directing energy inward allowing freedom to concentrate on the whole of LYFE's purpose. With her integrated body/mind/spirit approach, she provides individuals, organizations and both small and large corporations with creative opportunities to explore the Y (your) in LYFE.

As president of LYFEWORKS by Lanzerotte™, her seminars and presentations explain LYFE strategies based on a theory of personal development that views CHANGE as a natural process marked by turning points on the path of continuous growth. What identifies her as an expert is the intensity of her motto that 'LYFE is WORK but LYFE does WORK!"

Fitness Instructor: top

J. Kathryn Lanzerotte, M.A., has been teaching fitness classes for 25 years. She is a certified fitness instructor (AAFA) She started her hatha yoga training in 1989 under the directive of a senior Kripalu teacher, Lyn Magee. Joy began teaching yoga in 1992 in St. Louis, MO, teaching at studios and for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. She has studied with numerous senior teachers, i.e. Rod Stryker, Jenni Fox and Paul Gould, Lolly Font, Ben Thomas, and Erich Schiffmann. She has been a guest instructor at various health spas, Rancho La Puerta, The Oaks. She was a yoga instructor in Tempe AZ for five years before moving to CA. During that time she was introduced to the principles of Anusara Yoga, 1999. Her primary teachers are, Desiree Rumbaugh, a senior certified Anusara teacher trainer and John Friend, founder Anusara Yoga. She has also had extensive experience with numerous senior certified Anusara yoga teachers. Since, 1999 she has focused her yoga study with the spiritual yoga practice of Anusara. In November, '03, she completed 30 hrs. of teacher training with John Friend.

As a national speaker, she has taught numerous seminars on LYFEchanges. In April, '02 she was one of two national presenters at the Body/Mind/Soul conference, San Jose, CA and a scholarship recipient to the Shambhala Institute in Nova Scotia, Canada, June, '02. In November, '03 she taught at Stanford University, Health Improvement Program, interviewed for Cable TV, and featured in the Palo Alto Weekly about her research and work with both individuals and systems experiencing LYFEchanges (personal, professional, physical).

She was selected as a scholarship recipient to attend and present at the International Shambhala Institute, 6/02 in Nova Scotia, she was included in the 1996 edition of the International Who's Who of professionals, and in 1991 was selected by the American Biographical Institute as one of 2,000 Notable American Women.

"I want to address all aspects of motivation/transFORMation and community--all the issues I am addressing in my organizational classes, diversity, yoga all describe CHANGE. I want to focus on being a CHANGE agent, LYFEstyle strategist, mentor, in the area of physical, personal, professional issues.
